Recommendation? Modern slipjoint

ZT 0235 and Kershaw Federalist are a couple of my favorite modern slipjoints. The clip on the 0235 is easy enough to remove and carries great loose in pocket or in pocket sheath. The Federalist handles are micarta (not CF or titanium), but they do look and feel great.

Purely my own personal preference; but the modern slip joint I've been most impressed with lately is my Maxace Harmony. Flawless F&F and 0.25mm (0.01") BTE, which makes it slice like a kitchen knife. Plus they actually run their M390 above 60HRC.

Wallet was just there to avoid scratching the ano.

I was also going to suggest the Lion Steel Gitano, but then I noticed you said " no pocket clip "

So, my next favorite is the Viper Hug, there's about a half dozen variations, a few without scales.
They come with a leather slip and no pocket clip.

Both knives have a solid lockup when open, considering they're non-locking knives.
