Here's a curveball that may be a bit less expensive as well. The Higo No Kami knife is about as basic as they come: No locks, no liners, no back springs. It's just a piece of somewhat roughly finished carbon steel and a skeletal folded brass handle. It's kept folded shut 100% through friction (making it stuff to open but still fairly easy, especially when you use the tab as a lever), and is held "locked" by keeping your thumb pressing on the tab when it's open.
Very simple, lovely to look at, certainly not a weapon.
