So I'm really digging the newest offering from Cold Steel. Modern/Traditional is the only way I can define a knife like this. I would be open to buying more like this.
I have on full traditional, but it just doesn't grab me. Aside from the Lucky, the Boker Plus Howser Memory and the Benchmade Summit Lake have been somewhat intriguing to me, since they are kind of modern/traditional. Not enough to warrant a purchase yet though...
I am planning on a Lucky and a Finn Wolff this year when they become more readily available. I am very jealous. I have only seen them offered as pre orders. I am hoping the price on the Lucky comes down a little as they become more available. I really like it so far, but have not handled one and am not willing to pay what I am seeing them pre order for thus far.
I have a temporary job duty change for a few weeks recently and have given up the uniform for dress clothes. That was all it took to get me interested in gentleman's or dress knives. I personally won't wear a belt sheath or a knife with a clip visible in dress clothes. So far I have been carrying either an Alox Bantam or a Alox Secretary. Both are nothing more than pen knives and have very limited real function. The Lucky atleast thus far looks to have a little oomph to it than the tiny Victorinox pen blades, while still having a very sleek dressy look.
Agree with JK. I used to like the Kobun from CS before I went off the americanized tanto shape. This is the first CS that has me nervously fingering my credit card.
