Is their room / interest for a modified production knife forum? I know I'd like to see one. In some cases I prefer modified productions over custom, regardless of the price, and I ALWAYS like to see pictures. The only guys I know that modify productions are Frank (ATS34), David (Bandit), the guy from Totally Tactical, and Drew (Corduroy) who has disappeared. Maybe their are more? What do you think?

Hi Jackyl,
Some other guys who are doing some very nice customization are Ben Hulsey and Tom Stratton. Tom sometimes advertises in the Classified section of Blade. I will make a few scans and post of their work. (Top shelf stuff)

If anyone wants to reach either of these guys email me.

I had a Jake Evans put stag scales on a Cold Steel Black Bear Classic, you may want to check with him.
I known Frank Recoupero and his work, he does really nice file work.
I don't really see the need for a whole new forum, why can't you just post here? Just don't try posting in the Custom Forum or Les will jump down your throat.

I don't know about a modified production forum - but there have been calls for a "Gallery" type forum where you guys could show off your "pretties"... if there is enough interest in that, we may go forward with that sort of venue.

Jackyl, that's how I got into knifemaking.I carried a Buck 110 for years then modified it with deep finger grooves and water buffalo scales.I still do a few Bucks and SAK's,but mostly my own fixed blades.

Spark, we've had a Gallery Forum for months, WTF are you talking about?

Pontiacer has been mutalating, er, modifying CRK Sebenzas for a little while now. Let's call it the Doctor Frankenstein Forum.
