Modification thread

Here's my every day use knife.
It has maximum mods to it. (Unsure who made the mods, I bought it used).
I believe it to have once been a small regular Seb.

1) Flat ground
2) Grooves in the titanium
3) LBS that cannot be seen under clip
4) I added the anodized clip
5) I added the lanyard

It's my warranty voider, but I don't care because no matter how much abuse it has had to it and no matter how much I use it, it's strong as can be.

Yeah, both the original scales I grooved and then sent to someone that used to do flame heat anodizing. That mod put me on the map, I guess. I still get compliments and requests to do the same thing. some people balk when I tell them it will void their warranty. Others dont care. My personal knife that I've used HARD for years, still has less than 50% lock engagement. As far as I'm concerned, Sebenzas are bullet proof.

I really like it. Check your PM's

Now I got to pick out which Seb I want that done to.

Recently got these back in the mail from Barry_H , pimp extraordinaire. Contact him with any questions, please.

By the way, I love this thread and hope it really takes off.

Bos heat treat to 60HRC, one hour acid dip in 50/50 PCB etchant, 20 minute stonewash in the dryer. I'll put a nice edge on it tomorrow. Handle is stock (for now).

Holy cow, never seen anything like that and I've seen a lot of acid washed blades.

Be cool to see it with a nice edge on there.

Does that acid eat away enough blade to create play or is it still solid?
