Modifications & Value

It can depend on the Busse in question. I bought a used BM-E. Perfect condition except it was butt ugly as the coating was comming off in several places. SEVERAL. So the seller gave it an awesome BB and I would say that it would sell for more now. I also bought a BA-E user that had coating issues. It is getting an awesome DCBB by one of our expert HOGS here and, again, would most likely sell more now due to the quality finish. But that is concerning users.

Modify the knife to suit your use for it.

Busse knives are first and foremost Beater knives.

If you have ever used a knife hard then used a Busse for the same job you will likely keep that particular Busse knife for Life.

The Value as a Beater knife will be second to none and Re-sale will not likely ever come up.

If you want to keep it in a safe and only Rub it gently with a soft cloth then get the Factory to do any modifications you want done.

So it has been Written, So Let It Be Done!!
