Hi Folks,I've found that almost every time that I reach for a fixed blade knife anymore it is either a Mora or a Fallkniven F1 that I end up using. I've got a bunch of others that are just gathering dust & it's time to thin the herd. Here are two for sale:
First off, I am selling a production Fiddleback Forge production Kephart w/ black Micarta scales. S35VN steel. I am the second owner. The guy from whom I purchased it had slightly dinged the tip. Otherwise it was unused. The damage has since been stoned out. The edge has been convexed and it slices like a razor. I've used it to slice some paper & scrap leather to test the edge and I've made one fuzz stick with it to see how she works on wood (cuts it like butter).
The other thing that sets this knife apart is a minor mod to the handle. The stock Kephart had a somewhat sharp point on the bottom edge of the scale just behind where you would place your index finger while gripping the knife. This annoyed the crap out of me, so I lightly rounded and polished this area to the more rounded profile that Fiddleback uses on their handmade models. It is super comfy now.
$SOLDshipped and insured CONUS. No sheath. Comes with factory box.
The second knife is an Esee 3 that I modified prior to the availability of the HM models. I used 1/8" black Micarta as liners to build up the thickness of the handle. The blade has been stripped and the edge convexed to a screamin' sharp state. Very comfortable knife in the hand and is also super slicey.
Price reduced to $49.95 Shipped CONUS. No sheath.
Buyer must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Payment by Visa/MC, PMO or PayPal. Reasonable offers considered.
Possible trades:
Fallkniven F1 in COsLam
Bark River Bravo I LT in 3V or Cru-wear
Can settle up either way with $. Thanks for looking!
