Modified kabar fighting knife

    Would anyone post photos of their mods to a kabar fighting knife?

    Why????? Why would anyone mod the perfect knife?? Long live the Kabar!

    ka-bar is perfect. the ka bar is only knife i wont modify because there is no need to do it

    here is my kabar with the top guard removed, much more useful for me. Yet think I will try to add jimping like magnaminous

    Some years back the late Gun/Knife writer Chuck Karwan made what was called a Kar-Bar. He drilled a lanyard hole in the butt, made the handle washers a little flat on the sides so the handle was an oval shape, and removed the top portion of the guard. A lot more ergonomic and useful after the modifications. John

    I forgot Chuck flattened the sides, may have to do that to mine as well.

    found a vintage Camillus with Karwan mods...very nice
