This is a Modified Mako design. I think it looks Mean!
Blade is 3/16" 1095 with a etched and cold blued finish.
OAL 9"
4.5" cutting edge
Handle is desert Ironwood and red spacers with 3/23" NS pins
Black stamped sheath

does mako refer to the blade shape/profile? or is it a brand name? i cant find anything like it, but i have seen similar shapes in the past. i have sketches for something like this from ages ago. totally cool, i like it. mean little sharp pointy things WOO!

Its a blades shape that I make from time to time I have had them on here in the past.

Just to set the record straight I made this blade BEFORE the movie 300 came out...its just now that im getting the handle done...so THEY must of been using me for inspiration

Thanks SpearZ I must confess that with alot of my blades I don't have a preconceived idea of what the knife will look like...maybe a basic thought but once I get a blade cut out and start profiling....it always turns into something different and most times better.
