Modified RC-3 Question?

Will the modified pommel RC-3 due out in Feb. 08 be made with the new heat treat formula and also with the new coating on these is there any reason to apply oil to the blade after exposure to the elements? Thanks!

The steel will be 1095 Carbon so you may get some edge rusting in adverse environments. Other than that I wouldn't worry about it too much.

As for the heat treat, the modified version will be using the same heat treat recipe as the standard version.
