My daughter got a buck on Monday, the first day of the season here in Pa. It was a big deer, but had the smallest 8 point rack that I have ever seen. Anyway, I got the opportunity to test out my modified SAR 4. You may have seen it progress in my other thread. It worked like a dream. Not only for the field dressing, but also for the butchering yesterday. Only problem that I now have, is how to get the blood, fat and hair out of the Chuddy bear sheath. She put it in the sheath before I had a chance to clean most of it off! Oh well, I will send him a pm. It needs to be re-wet molded after all of the modifications anyway. here are some pics.
