Here's another of those projects that's been in the works for awhile now. I like the Scandi-Bushcraft style but, wanted a little more cutting action out of the blade than I was getting out of the traditional blade pattern (no offense to any one...S-B fan or not). So, I modified it by crossing it with my normal hunter/camp knife blade grinds. I hope you like the end product.
This Scandi-Bushcraft knife is 8 1/2" forged from John Deere 5160 steel. The blade is modified from the traditional pattern as it has a fully ground/tapered blade 4" long blade and a low bevel down the length of the spine. The knife also has a tapered tang, the thickest part being 1/4" at the ricasso. The handle scales are green dyed & stabilized Maple Burl wood with stainless steel handle bolts and lanyard liner. The knife comes with a leather pouch sheath with a "Winged Dragon" carving & belt loop by Tess.
Price, with leather sheath: $375.00, plus shipping.
