Not sure which model this is but a forum member asked me to rehandle and redo the blade. I rehandled it with walnut burl and corby rivets, did a total convex regrind of the blade.

That looks terrific; well done!

It should make an excellent all-around outdoors knife, not to mention a great display piece.

All the best,

- Mike

WOW Scott, more great work! I think that is really cool, I love wood and leather, I just can't get to excited about the modern stuff. Gene

Thanks guys. I didn't make the sheath. It's very nice. The walnut was from a freind who used to be a gunsmith. It's 30 year old wood. Tung oil really brings out the burls.

Great Job! and it's MY knife -a Swamp Rat M-6 that I tried to take the black finish off and finally gave up. Sent it to Scott and had it re-handled and re-shaped the blade. A little too thick for me before I sent it to Scott. I have to say out of the 20 or so custom knives I have had made, Scott Grossman is the Very best on honesty and communication. He even called me at work, unsolicited, to keep me posted on the status of the knife. I can't give him a higher recommendation. He's a man of his word.

I agree with patrickjames 100%. Scott sent me pictures of my Nessmuk in it's various stages as he was making it, fantastic communication, very honest, very easy to work with.

This M6 looks great!

You took a good workhorse knife and made it into a beautiful, great workhorse knife.

Love to see a knife like this reworked.

Thanks again. Pat, look for it this week. BTW, I contoured the handle to fit in the sheath exactly the way it did with the old scales. The edge is much thinner and should be a better cutter now.

Scott,

Awesome job! Everytime I see your work, I get more anxious for the knives I have on order with you!

as usual incredible work.....as soon as I get some $$$$ saved....Scott you my friend will be making my next knife

Scott, I pretty much second what everyone else has said, THAT is a NICE looking knife. Good job!

WOW, I really appreciate the kind words. Mod jobs are alot of fun. You can still be creative by changing the features of an existing knife.
