Modified Swamprat

I am surprised at how well the traditional makeover suited that knife. I have a stock M6 and now it seems a shame to hide that good looking dif tempered blade under a coat of black powdercoat.

Scott,
Great job. I wish it was mine....I LOVE that walnut handle. If I was not just living on S.S., I damn well would have an order in for one of your knives. They just keep looking better and better.

Thanks for pointing out about the differential temper. I was wondering about the distinct line running along the length of the blade just above the cutting edge.

I can't stop looking at this blade Scott, I have even posted it on the Scrapyard forum website. The handle looks so comfy and gives the knife that tradional look for which you are famous.
I have said it many times before Scott, but one day I will scrape the money together for one of your knives.

Not sure which model this is but a forum member asked me to rehandle and redo the blade. I rehandled it with walnut burl and corby rivets, did a total convex regrind of the blade.

That modification looks great...!
I have a couple of rats coming my way, can't wait...

Scott sent me pictures of my Nessmuk in it's various stages as he was making it,!

Scott has done that for a couple of the knives I have from him, he is the only custom maker that has done that, and it's kinda cool to have pictures of the process to go withthe knife!

Great job on that rework Scott!
