Hello folks , this is a smaller version of a modified Tanto that I recently sold here.
This was ground from 5/32" A-2 Tool Steel bar stock , heat treated to an Rc 61 in my shop . The main bevel and the unsharpened top swedge are hollow ground scotchbright satin finished . The front grind is flat ground with a satin finish.
O.A.L is 8-1/2"
Blade , tip to handle is 4" , it is 1" wide at the plunge line and 1-1/4" at the finger guard .
Sharpened edge is at 3-1/2"
Dressed in Red Linen Micarta with a pronounced center palm swell, White Liners and 5/32" mosaic pins .
Sheath is right or left hand carry ,
