This thing has been used. A lot. It has stripped large phone cable, it has pried open small vault lids, it has dug holes. It started out as DC/natural canvas. I modified the tip to give it more of a spear point (I re-rounded the spine to blend it nicely), and it has been sharpened and cleaned up enough times that it doesn't really show much DC anymore. The micarta is really smoothed from use and pocket carry.
I retired it from my work carry rotation about six months ago and polished it up a bit. Most of the scratches on the blade are from the kydex. Comes with a Mashed Cat kydex sheath that is just as well worn.
