Hey guys, I'm finished modding my ZT 0566 & I'm extremely happy with the results!

First I de-assisted, then used JB Weld to fill the torsion bar cavity around the pivot, next I put in some 1/2" polished bronze washers. I then got blue anodized TI scale screws and standoffs with a polished CF scale just to ice the cake. I'm pretty stoked with the results...now my only complaint is that the detent is not quite as strong as I would like, there is a bit of play with the detent, almost like the hole was drilled a tad too large. I'm totally being nit-picky about that though, because most people would not even notice. I just think a slightly larger detent ball would send this thing over the moon (still contemplating it)!! Anyway, I just wanted to put up some pics, I really enjoy this blade and am waiting like most of you for the 0562CF to arrive!

Christ that thing looks amazing!!!!

The piece de resistance is that killer edge you put on it. How did you do it? And what angle did you set it too?

Thank You!! Was actually done with an Edge Pro, and it's at 17 Degrees per side...

WOW!!! That is outstanding! I'm a very big fan of the 0566 as it comes out of the box, but I think your "near perfect" language is on the money!

You made an already nice knife your own. The anodized hardware looks great with CF.

Nicely done, sir! It is remiss of how I customized the 0566 I had a while back. I will point out one more piece you may need or be interested in - the blue anodized LBS replacement. There are some great sources for them here, and that would bring the blue accents all the way around!

Thank you! I am, aware of the blue lock bar stabilizer, I just felt like it would be overkill...that is only my opinion, but I made a conscious effort to leave out the LBS. For anyone who is interested in the LBS mod they should know that it is available for around only $12.

I am looking for a Blue pivot screw though...and if you or anyone knows, if the Hinderer pivot screw would fit, I would be extremely interested!! Thanks again.
