Modified ZT 0566 (De-Assisted, Larger Washers, Blue TI Hardware, CF Scale & More)

Ah, okay; good point. If I come across anything about the pivot screw, I'll pass it along.
 
There are titanium pivot bolts/screws on the old auction site now too...

Also, are those scale screws more flush than the stock ones? Obviously they are a different style, but if they flush well then I might need a set of bronze ones for my black washed 0566

Yeah, they flush well. I'll have to go check out the pivot screws, thanks for the heads up!
 
I have a 566 on the way, and I may want to also make the de-assist mod. What size washers did you use inside and outside diameter? Thank you. That knife looks AMAZING! :thumbup: I can't wait for mine.

You know, I honestly can't remember...it's been almost a year and at the time I just followed blairtech's link (which is broken now) I want to say 3/16"x1/2" but don't hold me to it, and as for the thickness I'm afraid I won't be much help...you could try asking blairtech, or getting a cheap set of calipers and measuring the large factory washer. The ones installed had a slightly larger OD, but otherwise were identical to the large factory washer. Sorry I couldn't be more help...good luck!
