Modifying a Spyderco Cat with a custom blade/scales

Greetings!

I am trying to find a maker that can modify a Spyderco Cat and replace the blade with one of a 'better' steel and also add cocobolo scales (or something in wood).

I really like this knife, it fits my hand well and is the right size to bring into buildings where I work. I'm accustomed to carrying a SAK and a small one-handed opener (no more that 2.5")

Is there anyone that is able (and willing) to do something like this? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I can help with the scales. Not sure about the blade. I know Reese Weiland can do replacement blades for Emerson's, maybe try to get in touch with him.
