Did masters of defense introduce anything new at the blade show?

Thanks,

You're pretty close to me, AC_23 (I live near Corbin, which is pretty close to London).

MOD certainly DID introduce a new model at the Blade show (atleast I think it's new)! It's the CQD Mk. 5 ATAC. It won a Blade award...I think it won the best overall knife award. It is rather "futuristic" (with all its features, it looks almost like a fantasy knife, though all its features have a duty. It's a fixed blade with about a six inch blade. It has a large double guard that points forward aswell. It has a special non-slip grip, a full tang, and a strong pommel meant for crushing (skulls?). The designer himself explained to me several of the features, and it seems to be very well thought out. He said it would be made of 154-cm, and should retail for something like $250 or $300.

They also had a relatively new neck knife, the MOD Scorpion Neck Knife (they said it was first unvailed at the Shot Show). It is small (about a 2" blade), very light, and has a very skeletonized handle. It comes with a Kydex neck sheathe.

MOD's display was one of the biggest, and it was very impressive. Their new fixed blade is very intriguing.

Clay,

Yes, there is a new fixed blade expected out around July (?) they are working on the final design for the sheath right now. The prototype looked a little like the Klingon fighting knife that United Cutlery use to sell. The difference is that this one seems to be very solid.

They also had a new and improved black blade finish on their knives. I'll check their catalog and let you know what they call it later.
