I,ve been kinda toying with this system. It took the place of the old ALICE web gear system we used 25 years ago.
I was looking for a way to carry a butt pack and a couple of canteens but with this system you can add as little or as much as you want.
You can pre pack your pouches and add or subtract them as needed. All of that gear attaches to the basic vest.

Don't be turned off by the prices here, you can get the basic vest and various pouches on Ebay for WAY WAY less. Basic vest around $10 new.
