What i am wondering is if there is a set formula or number to determine the modulus of elasticity at a specific temperature for steel. I know each steel is a bit diff rent but there all kinda close in Modulus of Elasticity for the basic steels. I know that carbon steel with a carbon content greater then .3 will go from 29.3 @ 70f to 15.4 @ 1200f.

Jarod,
I don't think you will find a formula that will work for all or even most. If your interest is in comparing how 2 different steels will forge in camparison to each other at a specific temp, then good luck finding anything in the tech data. I have a rating system of rough numbers based on my experience of how certian steels forge at 2000 degrees compared to 1018, much like machinability is rated based on a certian alloy of brass.
