Well everyone, today is a great day. I just got my Mr MoFo sheath from Dwayne!!!:eek: :cool: :D This thing is awesome!! I asked for a pancake sheath that would be able to be used ambi. With two different snakeskin inlays. A different one on each side that is. Plus I asked that it be sinue stitched. Talk about making a guys life hard hugh? Well, he did it! In incredable fashion to boot. The fit and finish on this baby is perfect. My words are too lame to describe the sweetness of this sheath, soo I will try to show it with a few pictures. 1st up

My fingers are still sore from all that sewing, that is a HECK of a lot of artifical sinew, but I am really liking that style. :D I am so glad you are happy with that sheath, theres a lot of blood, sweat, and a few tears in that one, did I mention I poked my fingers many many times!!:o ;)

Quick question for you: How does the snakeskin hold up to wear and tear, water, as compared to regular leather? Any special care needed? I have a knife or two that are needing sheaths...

Nuke on Dwayne! Beautiful work! Very cool! I really dig the snakeskin with the raptor scale handles. . . great match-up!

I'll have you know, that it took me about 10 minutes to type this response. The first 9 minutes were spent drooling and babbling incoherently. Damn, that's a sweet sheath! :eek: :D

Please use any pictures I have taken. Heck, if you have any shots you wanted taken to show off your work on this SWEET sheath, let me know and I will take them!:D Hell, it is the least I can do for you. This sheath surpassed any ideas I had in mind by a mile. Dwayne, you are the best, and a great gent to deal with. I will have to get another cool Busse so we can do more leather. So far I only have two Busse knives. One is this great MoFo and the other is my Mistress, which is on its way back to me from Andrew, who has built a kicking Kyvlex drop leg sheath for her. Picks will follow for that cool project too!:cool:
Strange, Leather for the Mister and Kyvlex for the Mistress.:eek: What a great family I have started!! I wonder what the litter would look like if they slept together?:rolleyes: HMMMM?
