Moghul Fighter

:eek: The only thing I don't find amazing about this piece is that it has come from Rodrigo Sfreddo ...... that doesn't surprise me at all! ;);)

Cheers

Stephen

That's one beautiful knife and sheath, Pure Art at its finest, and quite functional I'm sure.

Just absolutely amazing.

I love the design thoughts that went into the entire package...the way the top of the opening of the sheath is carved so that it mates to the handle of the knife when inserted, the carvings on the sheath that reflect the carvings on the handle, the small gold pins on handle and sheath that sparkle against the black, how the ricasso carving reflects the way the integral fuller flows in the handle...everything just so well thought out.

I do not care for damascus much, I appreciate the work done to make it, this makes damascus look beautiful. I love the way the sheath fits the knife.

pure knife porn!

i know what i like, and this i very much like and am very impressed with the abilities (natural or super natural :p) that have gone into producing this piece!

It seems we've been ogling this piece too much and Rodrigo's bandwidth has been exceeded. Hopefully it's all new customers going to his site to place an order! :D If you send me the pics I don't mind "hosting" them... Did anyone get a chance to DL these pics?

I didn't get 'em all, but these should help:

Sfreddo, your work is out of this world! Every time I see one of your pieces I am simply amazed. You are on a totally different level. I think the ABS needs a new title for bladesmiths like yourself "Grand Master Bladesmith".

Hello Guys. Thank you again for the kind words.
My webdesigner is remaking my website, and all the new information are hosted in the same address, so my site is actually doubled. The excess of information, and the last overviewing exceeded the bandwidth and the site was shot down. He's already working on it, and I hope it returns soon.
Thank's Roger for posting the pictures back.

Cheers!

Wow. I never post and I felt compelled to say something. That knife is something else! I have made about a dozen knives and I am left wondering how you pulled it off. Nice work!!
merzy

The fact is, no matter how good most makers think they are, no one else in the world could make that knife. Thats a challenging piece and it turned out superbly. I would love to own it.

Due to my jaw dropping my cigar fell out of my mouth. I am putting out the fire in my lap.

phhhheeeewwwwwww,. just keep having to go back and look at the pics again. It just flows beautifully! congratulations on making such a fantastic piece.

(im another person who only posts here every 6 months, but really feel not to comment on this knife would be so wrong. Technically the damascus is wonderful, super tight and even twisting, and O1 can be a finiky sod to patternweld at the best of times!!)

really a very, very fine piece.
