Moki of Japan has been making fine knives
since Moichi Sakurai, the patriarch of the
family, began his knifemaker apprenticeship
in Seki City in 1907. The quality of their
workmanship is so good that several major
players in the industry, e.g. Spyderco, Al Mar
and others, have contracted with Moki for the
