AT-34 Steel and they want $350 for them. I have heard great things about their quality.
I wish I got gifts like that!

They are still sold in Japan for JPY 17500, so that's about $160.

Edit: uhm, small correction, the website of "The Edge" knifeshop in Tokyo is down...so can't verify it. (it was up 2 weeks ago)
