Moku Ti - Chad Nichols

I have a piece of Chad's MokuTi left over from a knife I made. This is really nice stuff when heat colored.
You will get 3 colors or so. I have just anodized this for the pics.
size is .100 x 1 1/2 x 3 3/4

Gener, you can make that stuff look teriffic also another way, by giving it an etch and then some heat to bring out colours. Frank

Joe, I use ferric chloride say one poart to two parts water. I also etch regular mokume. Frank

Frank , I thought Chad Nichol's MokuTi was made with pure Titanium & Ti 6Al4V . Will ferric chloride etch that ?
