Moleskine notebooks

Here in Boston I've seen them at Restoration Hardware and at the Museum Store. Restoration Hardware sells fancy housewares and the Museum Store sells reproduction artwork and trinkets. They probably both have web sites.

Sorry Jim, I forgot to answer your question. They are small notebooks (approx 4"x6" 50 pages) designed to easily fit into a pocket. They have a black skin and a built in elastic band to keep them closed. Very classy looking.

I got mine, the lined version, from Renard Dellafave at http://homepage.mac.com/renard/mj.html . His email address is on the site, and it is recommended that you email him first to make certain he has in stock what you want. It is a great little notebook, made by Modo & Modo of Milan, Italy.

Very nice. I may have to grab a couple.

I like the ones like this

(this one is from the museum company) -- but I always thought they were cost prohibitive. For now anyway...

I just ordered from Mr. Dellafave and he is very polite and responded very quickly. Will report back after they are received.

I just ordered from Mr. Dellafave and he was very polite and responded very quickly. The notebooks are nice! Very pen friendly and scream quality. I like the fact that these were carried by Van Gogh, Matisse, Hemingway and now me! :)

I received mine the other day and I love it! My wife appropriated teh other one as expected. Will order more soon. Was sent priority even though I only paid $2 shipping. I highly recommend Mr. Dellafave!
