Sorry for your lose. I did the same thing when my father passed a few years ago. Wanted to get his birthday and passing day engraved on it. But didn't know anyone who could do that till I joined here.

My prayers are with you and your family

Sorry to read about your loss, Jer. From your description, your mother sounds like she had all the boxes checked. It's nice that you will have a knife that will remind you of her when you carry it, and it will be like she is with you.

My deepest condolences to you and your family for the loss of your Mom.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It's a Case Russlock drop-point in alpine green synthetic. I'll post pictures when it arrives.

I think Mom would smile. I hope somewhere she is smiling. She would like the color.

I think I've mentioned that she was the toughest and bravest person I ever expect to have met. She was also the most patient, least complaining, most compassionate person ever.

She even had her obituary and death certificate information ready for us.

I felt I had to announce this here, the center of my e-existence, but didn't want to derail the lounge with condolences.

Sorry to hear your mom passed. I hope she is somewhere smiling on you too.

Thats tough, i hate that for you. I picture my sweet mother perched on my shoulder and doing cartwheels and flips. My condolences to you

Jer, screened porch screened porch , your Mother sounds like mine - thoughtful, strong and fun. We are lucky.
A sad time for certain but you will be at peace - your Mom is in your heart.
All the best.

Ray

I’m sorry for your loss of your mum, Jer. While a parent should never have to bury their own child, it still sucks to have to lay your parent to rest. Prayers for your family, my friend.
