Monday Sales

I don't think so. It doesn't feel textured, but the appearance of the micarta almost looks like burlap. You can see the weave more than other GSOs I've had.

Ok, gotcha. I was able to score a 2.7 on the last Monday sale. I got g10 and was hoping to get the new texturing. So we'll see i guess  I've got a couple more weeks to wait before I know

Ya I'm not sure if they're doing it on the seconds?? I didn't request it for this one, but you might drop Ellie a note. This one feels good, but I think I'd want it on the G10.

That's a good idea. I've got g10 on my 5.1 also so I'd be able to tell the difference pretty easily

Thanks Andy, it feels pretty good, actually really good for a knife this size.

Is that the BRKT ultra light bushcrafter or the full sized Bushcrafter with the 2.7? I am trying to get a grasp on the size since I do own an ultra light Bushcrafter.

Quick pic. This thing is tiny! A couple of quick observations. Handle fits hand nicely, scales could use some more grip (micro texture?, and i dont like the split clip on my small knives that go on the belt, it's a pain to get them off!

Ok, i judged very quickly. I like these scales, there is plenty of grip. Expecially for a knife this size. Sorry for the quick judgment.

Andy, that is the ultralight in the picture

Nice lineup Tinbanger!
I'm liking the subtle look of that forest green, and that bright orange on the 2.7 is perfect.

Hey wait, what? So you like subtle but think that louder is more perfect? Seems to me that you like bigger boobs on your dates but prefer the more demure types when it comes to your significant others. This tip was free and no need to thanks Dr. Casino :D

Haha I like to mix it up!
The forest green on the FK just looks right for some reason. Same as the orange on the 2.7.
The great thing about California is the variety of women, too bad the majority of them are either stuck up or stupid.

I'm too busy right now pillow fighting a couple of playmates! So I'll get back to your cheeky comment this PM, after I'm done swimming with the dolphins

I shouldn't derail the thread, I shouldn't derail the thread, I shouldn't derail the thread................................

But! Tell Hugh I say hi ;)

Nobody wants to chime in on the quality of California's men? ;)

Haha! I'll chime in on that one!
There's a huge amount of complete douchebags and snowflakes out here. We still have a decent amount of good, hardworking Americans also.
I really can't wait to wave goodbye to this hellhole.
