I have a belt made from a Mongolian horsehair cinch for trade.
The belt is 54" long with brass buckle and ring keeper. Total length of the cinch is 65".
This one is black/brown with contrasting white V shapes running the full length.
I know what it is and where it comes from because I bought it in Mongolia a few years ago.
In the country side they use a 1" wide braided horsehair cinch on their horses.
Most horses have scars on their chests and bellies from these.
This one I bought new at the black market in Ulaanbaatar.
After I got home I went to the saddle shop I was working in and sewed in a buckle and keeper.
I wore it a few times, but I am not a horse hair belt kind of guy.
Not really sure what I want to trade it for.
Knives are always good, gear is good, supplies are good.... other?
