Uncle Bill,

I read in an old thread that the biggest Khuk. that HI makes is a 38 inch super salyan that weighs 8 or 9 lbs?! Do you have any pics of this beast? I'm sure others on the forum would be interested to see a khuk. that huge. Or, is that a sword, and not a khuk. at all?

I was actually thinking the same thing after I read that thread. The first thought through my head was, "I've gotta get one!" The second was," What would I ever use A khuk that big for?" To say the least I've thought of a couple of things. So, what do say Tio are there any pics of this khukuri of cyclopian proportions?

Yes, once in a while bill posts a pic of Yangdu holding one of the beasts. It's generally used for the cattle beheading ceremony. Although usually smaller sized Khuk's are used as they are much more handy and seem to get the job done.

Here is a picture of Yangdu holding a large blade. This is a janawar katne weighing in at about 9 lbs.

A sword sized Khukuri? Well, 8 to 9 lbs. is heavy for a sword. The 25" Sirupati that I got from Uncle is almost 2 lbs. This Sirupati has a different feel than the 20" version that my wife got me. Both feel great, but if I was fighting multiple bad guys, I would use the smaller lighter one. Now, let's see about the Kumar Kobras in 20" and 30" persuasion. These should be ideal for sword purposes. Any word when the 30" Kumar King Kobras will be in Uncle?

Jeez, I felt like an idiot after I saw the picture. I've seen the Animal cutter a dozen or more times but for some reason I just didn't link the two together. Hey uncle, any chance of getting one with a butterfly on it!
