Montana Knife Handle Supply = Great service

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Charles Sauer of Montana Knife Handle Supply. I have nothing but good words to say about our deal. The service was excellent. The product was just as good.

I had tried just about every stag supplier in the country looking for a set of large stag scales that was of good enough quality (don't get me started on the present quality of stag) to put on a hunting knife. The ONLY person I could find who had what I wanted was Mr. Sauer. It may have been sheer luck that he had what i wanted (I beleive he said the stag had been on the back shelf for several years) but that didn't matter. What mattered was that Mr. Sauer was more than helpful.

Charles Sauer also is a maker of excellent knives. I purchased an All-Around Bowie from him in the Spring and I love the quality of the file work as well as the balance and feel of the knife itself. I almost feel like not using it and keeping it as a collector's piece.
