A new look to my classic drop point hunter this is a hidden tang with a 4" blade 8 1/2" overall. Nice fit to the hand and a real looker. Brass guard and spacers with red fiber and Amboya burl. Stag has been dyed light brown and treated with Teak Oil.

A2 blade flat ground with heat treat by Paul Bos to about Rc 60-61. A2 is a high carbon (1.00 %) tool steel with a small amount of chrome (5.2%) for corrosion resistance. This gives you a great edge with little care.

The blade is flat ground and and hand finished to 2000 grit and mirror polished. The edge is ground to about 0.015 and convex with a cutting angle of about 12 degrees to make it a real slicer.

Blade 4 x 1 1/4".. Overall length 8". 1/8"thickness
