Moore Maker large locking Sodbuster

That's pretty bad fit and finish considering it's supposed to be the pick of the lot. I have a small MM yellow bone handled soddie with similar issues, but mine was a seconds knife. As much as it pains me to say this, it seems that the MM knives are nothing more than a rebranded knife (i.e., Queen, former Camillus, and now Bear). There doesn't seem to be anything really special about them.

Hmmm.... after some thought, it may be that they MM knives need to be considered on an individual basis before purchasing as are some of the other knives mentioned here.

I have seen several vendors that carry these at one of our local monthly gunshows, and some seem great, and some not so great. Last show I almost bit on a stockman that I would have been proud to have in my pocket. But some of the other models weren't quite so nice.

Guess it's just about like anything else; buyer beware.
