Moore Maker

i think i tried to get that ridiculous etch off, didnt work sadly. was too deep.
I tried the same with one I had prior to these. It’s very deep. Only thing I could do was lighten it, but it’s still very visible on the blade.

There is Albers design in this...a lost history 😄
Etchaphobia!! 🤪 I like a deep etch!! Each to his own!!!😂

That is just lovely. Ebony and all steel construction?

Thank you, it was tough to decide wether or not to use it. But I figured I won’t keep it if I don’t use it at least sometimes ;)

You are correct, Ebony and stainless.

I wonder who made that one for Moore Maker; it's gorgeous.
I thought I read somewhere on here that they were made by Canal Street Cutlery at the end of their run.

Edit: found the thread

CSC, that explains it, it shows quality.

Plus, ea42 ea42 "liked" it, it looks a little bit like his current ones perhaps?

I was informed once upon a time that ea42 ea42 had his hands in this...the CSC Moore Maker design may have in fact kicked off the Eric's Jack...

Don't want to take too much away from Wally and spread any rumors but want to share 'some' story I've heard in the past.

Did or does MM ever make their own knives or is everything rebranded from other makers?
