I seldom flat grind but this one just seemed suited to it. And I find it easier to get a nice taper on the thicker steel using this grind. I looked at this piece of moose antler for a long time before I put in on a knife; the downward bow would make it fit very nicely in the hand but it also had a twist to the left. After I made this knife I was pleased that it fit my hand so well but it is probably best for a right hand user.

Mr. Drew: I would echo the other comments posted above about this handsome work of art. While the same may be said for all of your creations, this one seems to be in a class of its own. I am not sure when it may be said that you have reached "the top of your form", but you certainly seem to outdo yourself with each new production from your shop!
