I want to put small mother of pearl scales on my damascus necker. Is there any bonder or special epoxy to use without pins??

There's a two part super glue that some folks like Tim Herman use to attach handles like mop. It comes in two bottles. You put one solution on the knife and one on the back of the handle and let them air dry and then stick em together and you better get em lined up right cause they aren't comin back apart unless you break the scales off. For the life of me, I can't recall the name of the stuff! The plastic bottle is white and the lettering is green but that's all I can remember. Gettin old stinks! :D
You can order it from MSC, here's a link.

Oh yeah, if you sand or grind that mop, wear the best respirator you can get and do it in a well ventilated area! The dust from mother of pearl can kill you!!

Yeah, thanks ! I know how you feel about getting old. I go downstairs in the middle of the night and then forget what I was going there for ! I am also in Florida. I'll try that two part glue. I think I have seen that in the local stores.

I think the resin he is referring to is either Locktite 330 ( kit with two parts, no-mix) ,or Locktite 326 speedbonder and its 7649 primer. Both would work well with MOP.
Texas Knife Supply and many other places carry it.

Thanks, Stacy ! I'll look for either.
