I had Normark conjure up some of his Kydex wonders and wanted to share one with you. I have too many knives (if such a thing is possible) and I was going to sell it, but this Mora 2000 is so cool with the sheath that I decided to keep it. I got a Buck Hartsook sheath, one for the Cold Steel Bushman and an SAK Trekker. All fit and work like they were GROWN on the knives :D

Update: I added pics of the Hartsook and Bushman sheaths. Normark's sheaths really finish these knives off. The stock Buck sheath for the Hartsook is an embarrassment and the On/Scene sheath for the Bushman really turns the inexpensive blade into a serious tool.

I didn't take photos of the Trekker yet, but I'll do a thread on that one when I get the firesteel and work out some PSK ideas based on it. FYI, On/Scene's standard firesteel holders are based on the Light My Fire Army model, which is larger diameter than the Scout model.

Good one! Now that you got em all dressed up, where you gonna take em? :D

Sold two, kept two (Trekker and Mora).

I hike the west slopes of the central and north Cascades usually. I try to get out to the Olympic Park coast once a year. The trailheads are getting hard to reach and the trails are in terrible shape after the last few winters-- we've had some nasty storms that have wiped out major roads and bridges accessing some of the best country. Mt Rainier National Park really got hit last winter. I haven't been up to Vancouver Island in quite a while and that is on my list too. SE Alaska has been on my wish list for years.

Yeah, my two favs in bush are the M2K and Trekker GAK. They work real well together.

Both are a lot of knife for the money. I think the Trekker makes an ideal day hiker's knife-- great for food prep and enough to make a shelter and get a fire going if you get stuck. The Mora 2000 is just as simple as a knife can be-- a sharp piece of steel with a handle on it.

Frosts/Eriksson should make a saw in the mora style -- I bet it would rock.
