I know that Frosts acquired Eriksson in a buyout of some sort, but do they still make the 510? Ragnar has some, and I'm wondering if I should buy a couple of my favorite moras before they're gone....:(

Please tell me they're still being made!

One never knows what lurks in the minds of mortal Mora executives, those in charge of production, but I think it's safe to say this model is way too popular to discontinue. Still, it's not a bad idea to procure a few for safe keeping:D

I actually contacted mora of sweden, they are still being made..However they told me that they are not one of there more popular models, and that the stainless clipper and the 2000 are more popular so while they are in production now I don't know how lon they will stay that way...however I asked about the possibility of them making a carbon steel version on the mora 2000, and they told me that "outdoorsman" prefer the stainless moras but if a demand should arise they would consider it, so if that sounds good to you gouys youw should drop them a line.

Seems to be Kochanski's favorite (from various pictures).
If only for that, they should keep it.

As for carbon Mora 2000, not sure if they can make sprint runs, but I guess if the price is comparable to original Mora 2000, we could probably have quite a lot of people interested on this very board.

You can still pick them up off of ebay if you still really want one. Bensbackwoods sells them too.

Do you guys want to make some sort of list with people who would buy a carbon steel M2K and send it to Mora of Sweden ?To see if they woud make a sprint run ;)
