Mora and Handmade Knife pass-around update

Here is pics of the mora in action, and the handmade neck sheath, which is my modification. We took the mora for a hike along Shoal Creek, and my son enjoyed carrying the mora in the new sheath.
The knives on the stump are as follows, the mora on the left is mine, the handmade in the middle is part of this pass-around, and the mora on the far right is the pass-around knife.

Good stuff Charlie.:thumbup: Look forward to flame treating that Mora handle. I think I'll linseed the handle to seal it, as well as make it look a little nicer as well.
 
Yep, after thinking about it, I think we should definitely raffle it off.

It doesn't seem right for me to keep it.

hmmm....didn't think that far ahead. I think that first, I'll take myself out of the running. Let's just say that I have donated this knife to the passaround. I do want to handle it last though just to see where it's gone, what it looks like, etc. then i'll send it to the winner.

I think we'll take the original list and I'll put the names in a hat and let my wife choose the winner.

does that sound good?

Yep, it's still at my place, should ship it out in the morning.. had customers come by this evening, wanted them to see the sheath:o

Tuesday night I had a 15 year old "knife nut" handle the knife, we both like the way the blade turned out, but the handle was really missing something. I took it back to the shop on Wensday, reshaped and re-finished the handle, and took it back to my "expert". His eye's lit up when he held it and he pronounced " that's it!" .... LOL, then we had them (mora and handmade) on display at the church that evening on our patrol's table...
 
Cool. See, now that's the kinda stuff you gotta put in your reviews. What adventures have they gone on, as well as what you did to and with them.
