Mora carbon steel knives

Has anyone heard about Mora stopping production of some of their knives? I was told that Mora is dropping many or most of their carbon steel knives from their line.

Where did you hear that? I have not heard a thing about it.

I didn't hear that they are dropping them but I contacted the folks over there, and they told me that there stainless models are preferred by outdoorsman (although I disagree)

I haven't heard anything like that, and I would be very surprised if they dropped their carbon steel knives, which have always been popular.

I'm going to have to pick up a couple extra 711's in carbon steel just in case.

I might too. Thats as good of excuse as any to buy more Mora's. I like the Clipper and 740 the best. I think.

I didn't own one until late last year in the XMas Giveaway thread. Since I got that one, I got ahold of another recently.

Anyhow, I really doubt that they would discontinue them. Too many people like them. And if they do, I hope it isn't for a while, I stil want .. a lot more of them.

Hopefully it's not true ... but a good reason to pick up a couple just in case.
