Mora Eldris question

Looks like they are now here. As people get them, I would like to know if it is comfortable for pocket carry - wondering if it is too bulky. What is the width of the handle? Thanks for your consideration.
 
I pre-ordered one in the spring and it comes in the mail tonight. I'll let you know!
 
Ok, it's 6 inches long in the sheath and the thickest part is 1.2 inches thick. I find I can drop it into the pocket of my dress slacks and it fits comfortably, though it does make an obvious lump. In cargo pants I imagine it will fit fine.

This knife is high on my want list.
 
The eldris seems like it makes no economical sense... Yet I want one! Lol
 
I really wish they hadn't gone with the sawn off stubby approach they took.
Why not something like a 2" bladed Mora classic ? The particular knife doesn't interest me, but the idea of a small scaled down Mora does and I hope they do go this route in the future.
 
This knife is very fat and stubby. I enjoy mine, but I don't think it would make a very good pocket carry. It's like carrying around a large hard-boiled egg in your pocket.
 
Got mine today - 1st knife of 2017!

Quiet kind of nails it in regards to pocket carry. With normal pants pockets I would not find it comfortable. Stashed in a cargo pocket would be fine though. It's fairly comfortable in my large size hand which surprised me. Be interesting to see how it does at carving & whittling wood. Only problem I can foresee is that the spine is sharp for striking sparks and will be uncomfortable if I put my thumb on it for extra pressure.
