• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Just a litte info. on the Sweedish stainless Mora knife. I got one for free along with my Bahico folding saw and never gave it much thought. I used it for the first time today and I am very, very impressed! I butchered an entire blacktail buck with it, and never sharpened it once. This includes cutting out the loins, both hams and both shoulders and then cutting all of them into steaks. The rubberized handle was not slippery and the blade length was perfect. Not bad for a $15.00 knife. I was careful not to cut or nick any bone and I used my F1 in the field for gutting the animal as the skin on any animal will dull a knife quickly. Hope this was useful to someone. (Yes, we can still spend too much money on high quality knives, but a "cheepie" will work.)

If it came with the Bahco saw, it was the Frosts 760-MG. I got that same set - I think they called it the Laplander set.

Even the little red handle #1's work well for butchering.
