Moran - Sal, did the forums save it?

YES!! A lanyard hole is very important! Please!

I would skip the file work, sorry but I like the minimalist approach.

The choil could be longer, in other words from where the edge starts to handle, but just a little, maybe 1/2 inch.

a lanyard hole would be very good, hard to see how it would blend with the design, though.

Don't change anything. I've been using it out doors for a while, and it is perfect. I was skeptical of the swept point at first, but I'm now converted.

The choil is perfect for me. Filework would be uneccessary for something so small. It would add expense, is potentially uncomfortable, and will be one more detail I have to clean. The handle is an absolute joy. I'm indifferent to the lanyard hole.

Bill Moran really knows ergonomics! I would like a slightly longer blade, but I'll defer to Mr. Moran's judgement.

Sal, I agree with Bob (Bald 1) on the depth of the choil. It's just a matter of making it deep enough so that it can be slightly rounded. I also go along with the suggestions for a lanyard hole. If possible, I'd love to see one added.
