I have been playing around with different handle shapes and materials lately and want to offer these prototypes for those who may have wanted to buy one of my neck knives but dont want to wait for me to finish a batch. These are from 7/64 O1 with acid etch then stonewash finish.
First up is a new handle shape and material. Im calling this a Loveless Necker. I know that Loveless knives usually have a guard, but the handle reminds me of a loveless. This one has a Carbonized Bamboo handle, dyed bamboo pin, and flared stainless tube. This bamboo is SUPER tough! Sheath is not made yet but will come with a black Kydex neck knife sheath like my others. The sheath will be made to fit a Molle Lock and Tekloc. Price is $60 shipped plus optional $3 for insurance. Next is one of my DP Neckers with stabilized jigged buffalo horn. This is very beautiful material and is a dark rich brown to black color. I really like it! It has ¼ flared stainless tubes. Kydex sheath will be made as described above. I still need to etch my name on this piece. Price is $60 shipped plus optional $3 for insurance. Paid & Shipped
This one is like my 1979 Chevy K20. She aint much to look at but shell get the job done! Actually my wife hates this knife and tried to stop me from posting it... but I like it! It is my DP Finger Necker with about a ¼ layer of leather then wrapped with hemp and epoxied. It is SUPER light, feels great in the hand, and very heavy duty. If youre looking for a workhorse of a neck knife, then this is the one for you. Kydex sheath will be made as described above. Price is $60 shipped plus optional $3 for insurance. Paid & Shipped
Last is one that is a bit more fancy. This one has a longer handle than my usual neckers, stabilized buckeye, flared SS tube, carbon fiber pins, and matching firesteel. It comes with the paracord. Because of the firesteel, beautiful buckeye, and extra size, Im asking $125 for it shipped plus optional $3 insurance. This really is a beautiful combo!
