I am doing some last minute year end shop cleaning. I decided to put together some batches of real nice knife handle wood at bargain prices.

When you see a batch you want, just say "I'll take Batch #s...." and I will mark them sold for you. US shipping is $5 per batch, Canada $10. Paypal is the preferred method of payment.

I know the pictures aren't very good. The wood is dry so it's kind of hard to see the colors and figure but it's all good stuff. Some of the lace redwood burl will be exhibition grade. You guys are in for a pleasant surprise.

Farmer Phil, where are you?

Shipping for each batch in the US is $5 a batch because they will be shipped in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate envelope. If you get more than 2 batches I will use a flat rate box for $10. I can fit about 6 batches in a box.

None of these have been stabilized. These are natural scales that you could use a CA glue finish, wood hardener or have stabilized. Different makers will have different opinions.

If nobody picks up the redwood burl pretty quick I am going to take them off and keep them for myself. They are super nice and less than 1/2 price.

If it were YOU choosing the wood, would you want batch 16 or batch 12?

#12 is really nice burl but I like #16 better. My personal taste leans toward the dark red redwood like #16. That is some old growth estate burl. (I bought it from a guy who inherited it from his grandfather)

I am re-working my web store to make it more user friendly. There will be more bargain batches of scales and blocks that will be good for production runs, beginners and teaching materials. Everything will be good figured wood and burl. The web store should be back up and running around the 1st. Thanks everyone for a great year.

There are still a couple batches left of this type redwood. The scales normally sell for $15-$20 each. It is real nice compact figure burl.
