More Bear G/ bullsh.t?

The word Adirondack means 'tree eater'.

I learned it as, "bark eater" and heard that the Adirondack Indians or a tribe that used to inhabit that area...were basically vegematarians and some other tribe of Indians, IIRC, used to use the word "adirondack" as an insult...

I just tuned in for the last 10 minutes of the Everglades episode to show my wife who this guy is. Bear points to a supposed claw mark on the trunk of a tree and says it was made by a black bear. HA! Look at that thing. It was clearly carved into the tree by someone with a knife. Don't these idiots know that there are people out there that can see thru this crap?! (And no, Bear diddn't do a voiceover stating that the claw mark was a simulation!)

What a tool!

You missed out, they had some interesting stuff in it. The shelter and fire he made were pretty cool.

(I'm from Louisiana and hunt in terrain like that sometimes).

He did admit to not really snaring a rabbit in the Scottish Highlands, as well as that fish he "caught". The rabbit is considered a nuisance in Scotland, with over 9.5million roaming the land. Of course this is all stuff he said before killing the rabbit. The fish he caught was placed downstream by somebody.. he didn't say who. So he is coming clean on some things, but I'd like to see how they film new episodes. The big thrill for so many people out there, is that it was real. Now everyone knows the truth, and I'd like to see Bear live this one down as a so called "Survival Expert".
