Hello guys, this time I offer you another one of my birch bark puukkos. The notable thing here is the steel. Maybe 1.2519 doesn't sount familiar to you, but chemicaly is close to Hitachi Blue 2. Also it might be compared to 52100 with tungsten, making it more fine grained and wear resistant.(its not stainless)

Steel - 1.2519 (similar to Hitachi Blue 2) 60-61 HRC
OAL - 240mm (~9.4'')
Blade 118x23x4,8mm (~4.6''x0.9''x0.19'') rhombic grind
Finish - p 800.
Handle - birch bark and bronze
Sheath - cow leather

Gatogordo - Hello sir, the birch bark is naturally saturated with resins and when its stacked , I bake it so the resins flow trough all the handle evenly and it becomes a solid piece. After that I give it a layer of danish oil. When its dirty you can just wash it with water and dish soap. Then leave it to dry for 15 min.

Jelio - thank you my friend

pbubsy - thank you sir , ill send it today
