My 2 Charles May knives were waiting for me when I got home. I ordered a Bob White, with bone handles dyed green, mosaic pins and black liners. The other knife is a Handi Scandi, with desert ironwood handles, and mosaic pins, with white liners. I will take pix this weekend. Both knives are incredible!! Mr. May makes some seriously incredible fixed blades! If you haven't checked out Charles May's knives, you owe it to yourself to do so. These are my second and third knives from him. (My first one is a Fireant with bone handles that were dyed green.)

Yeah, I know, I know....No pix. They are so amazing. I know this thread is worthless without pix.

Poat pics when you get the chance! We need to see your newest additions......awesome knives no doubt. :)

Pics or it didn't happen!;)

Nice score Suz. Charles May makes fine knives.

Kind regards,

Jos

I have a special Charles May project comng, hopefully within the month. Something new, not seen before. Something I cooked up in my wierd little mind. Charlie understands knife use and ideas for knives. He even improved the ergonomics of my knife idea.

I also have a Fishbone model on order. You will enjoy your new knives.

Here is a link to his website with all of his models to view until T.K.C. can post some pictures.

Charles makes a great knife.

As I have posted many times, I have carried a Trace Scandi everyday in my back pocket for almost three years. It is the most used / carried knife I have ever owned.

Hey TKC, I got the rest of that green bone on my FireAnt. (D*mn you for showing yours off--it cost me! I couldn't resist.)
It turned out much less green than yours, and actually looks like grey granite. I carry this little thing every day, and get compliments every time I take it out.

They're both really nice but the Handi Scandi, with desert ironwood handles just seems perfect.

Congratulations

Mitch

Thank you kindly everyone. Yes, the Handi Scandi is about perfect for pocket carry, and has bumped out on my Pocket Hippo. The beauty of the ironwood scales just blows me away.

Both those knives just blow me away. The variety displayed there is excellent! Nice photo's too!
